I am having an issue with my connection again. This time I can not get it to re connect at all. Might be an ecu issue though. Get the flashed ecu tomorrow, so I will see after installing it...

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
I tried up to 10 each way. Mine has always had issues, so I think it in the ecu grounding, or the ecu itself.
It has always kicked the anti lock light on as well as disconnected under hard boost. Last Friday the engine light started flashing, and can't get it to connect since.
Or its the LCDBoostController . . . disconnect the LCDBC and see if your engine lights go away . . . when you install your new Clone ECU, make sure it works fine BEFORE you hook up the LCDBC. You should have no CEL and the ECU should run fine. Just remember, it has a STOCK Mitsubishi ROM. You will need to make changes for your MAF and Injectors if you changed them. You will also need to set the peripheries to disable the vent solenoid and some other junk. That should be outlined in Greg's thread. Then flash Chrome and test that next. Just run wastegate pressure until you are sure everything runs fine. Then wire in the LCDBC. If it throws a CEL again, its the LCDBC.

The OBD2/MUT cable has OBD2 pin1 tied to ground (pins 4 and 5) and apparently on some cars, this puts the ABS computer into diagnostic mode with ABS light turned on. The user "AWDonly" brought this to my attention so I gave him a solution. OBD2 pin 1 is no longer permanently tied to ground, but instead is tied to the serial DB9 pin 1. So once LCDBC is powered up, 2 seconds later the LCDBC software tells serial DB9 pin 1 to go to ground. By delaying OBD2 pin 1 from seeing ground at startup, the ABS computer does not turn on the ABS light anymore. If anyone wants details just ask.
CoopKill: If you suspect the LCDBC circuit board is faulty send it in and I'll replace it with another. Contact me prior to sending it, so I don't pay taxes on it twice.
Antero, I just received mine (and powered it up using my bench power supply). Looks awesome as does the ECU conversion harness.
What kind of 3pin harness/plug do I need to be able to hook my GM MAP into this? The 3pin header looks a little different than the others (bummer since I have a few of that type 3pin connector laying around from alarm installs). Looks like a 3pin PC fan plug might fit if I did some grinding to the plug. Can you please confirm, or let me know what I should be using?
Thanks!
James
You'll need to identify it from the locating tabs on your MAP, I don't remember what the configuration is, but it will be one of these: | pi | wiring-connectors | gm | pigtails | 3-cavity | male | ACDelco TechConnect
