I'd strongly recommend jumping on it when they come available. The customer support is freaking great also.

^ Paul did you end up getting the AEM wideband working correctly with this unit? Keep us posted as if it doesn't work well I will get the Innovate instead of the AEM...

Noob question, both my laptops don't have null modem ports. Could I use a RS232 to USB adapter along with a null model cable to upgrade the firmware on this controller? something like this:

USB to RS232 Serial Null Modem Cable COM DB 9 Pin Lead | eBay

Yup any USB to serial adaptor + a null-modem cable (or adapter) will work. Looks good.

Not yet, my car is down again. It looks like I got in a hurry and didn't tighten my timing tensioner pulley down well enough. It came loose

Do you know if this would work with the Autometer Nexus's 0-4v data output feed?

data would be misleading. If it actually does output data, then it wont work, his unit responds to voltage only. If the unit outputs a varying voltage that is directly equal to an AFR, then it should work. If it outputs a data signal, then it wont work.

I don't actually have the gauge yet, (want to get matching gauges all around if possible) but from what I've read everywhere it's a 0-4v analog signal for datalogging if that makes a difference. Not sure if it's a data signal or just varying voltage. Perhaps my use of "data" in my original post might be inaccurate to begin with.

analog means its just a varying voltage, you should be good to go

So I was thinking of how to get my car to stop locking and unlocking it's self every time I turn off the car. I know its because of the LCD Boost controller. If I disconnect the wire/s from the ETACS and/or the remote locking system controller from the OBDII plug will it will stop? has anyone tried it?

Wow strange behavior. I don't get anything like that (lock / unlock). So if you disconnect the OBD2 connector it stops this behavior?
