I got a chance to change the alternative diagnostic codes on my system to "yes" and the fuel pump test works like a charm on my 94 now! Thanks Antero!

Okay thanks for the notice. I'll tell everyone that has a 94 and newer to use the "alternative diagnostic code".
It had been a long time since I updated (car hasn't run in a while) and I wanted to take advantage of the timing setting feature.
My first issue was with updating the device. No matter what I tried timing wise it wouldn't work. Finally as a hail Mary I thought I'd try holding the lcdbc knob down when powering up and it worked first try.
The second issue is now my Max knock for the last run doesn't show anything. It will show on the main screen, and my check engine light comes on when it sees 5 knock or more, but when I go to check it doesn't show anything.
Don't know if any others are experiencing this, but thought I'd share..
I was updating from 3.10 to 3.52
Thanks!
Uniuno: In the config menu, turn off "Peak Knock Filter". Peak Knock filter was requested by a user, such that it does not record the first knock event, instead it requires continuous knock for peak knock to get activated.
p.s. version 3.54 is the latest.
Thanks, I'll give it a shot.
Where might I find 3.54?

Also it can be downloaded from this newer website:

So I finally got around to trying out the cable you sent to replace the ODB1 conversion cable from Jester. The issue I am seeing now right of the bat is that when I use the dial to go to the next page there is a 5-7 second delay before it actually goes to the next page. Sp switching cables have caused me to go from one problem to the next. Any ideas?
If you picked "ECU Type=MUToverOBD2" it is much slower at communicating with the ECU. However, if you choose "ECU Type=MUT" it should be faster than OBD1 was, for even faster menu response. With chrome/flashable ECUs, you can use both protocols, but MUT is the best choice.

I am using MUT. This slow menu speed didn't start occurring until I started using the new OBD1 cable you sent me. if I switch back to the ODB2 cable and uses Jesters ODB1 to ODB2 conversion harness, then the menu's work for a time but after about 10 min the LCD freezes up and does nothing until it is restarted.
It sounds to me the DB9 connector is not mating well, did you tighten down the DB9 screws to ensure a tight fit?
Another idea I would try next, is to open up that gen2 LCDBC unit, locate that microprocessor and push down on each end. It might not be seating well after it was upgraded.
