Another diagnostic mode added: SAS mode (turn off your idle speed motor temporarily while you adjust idle screw)

I'll take a wild guess here and assume there are 0-255 steps. If the Idle Step Controller is maxed out, 0 or 255 would indicate the ISC is unable to lower or raise idle any further, and this would be an indicator of a problem.

The LCDBC has gone through many improvements, revisions and the user manual has not reflected this, so I spent a couple days updating this:

So I got mine all installed and it was finally nice enough out to take it for a drive. After about 20 min the screen stopped updating and the control knob did nothing at all, it would randomly switch to a different screen but I couldn't control any of it. Once the car was turned off and back on it functioned normally. No sure which version I have but it does not have the additional inputs but does have the serial out add-on board.

I also noted that the WBO2 does not update/refresh as it should. Pretty much stays at 15.4 AFR the whole time. I have an innovate WB run through chrome ecu pin. I can log it just fine in Evoscan connected to the ECU so I know it works. I have the LCDBC set to read from the EGRT pin and set the scaling of the WBO2. Not sure if the two issues are related or not but it is very troublesome.

Any Suggestions? Tired a quick search but 100+ pages is too much to go through.

So took the car out for another spin and after about 17 min it froze up again. So I power cycled it and it went through three attempts to connect and they red screened with overboost warning which I can't dismiss. Now it does that every single time I turn on the car.

I just looked for one that only has 12 volts when the ignition key is turned, and 0 volts with the ignition turned off. You can refer to the installation manual and compare pictures with my "Add-a-fuse".

I just read the similar message you wrote on 3si.org for me. Thanks for letting me know you bought it second hand, and it was v2 hardware with an upgraded v3 microprocessor. At least this gives me a better understanding what we are working with.

I would go back and verify that the 40pin microprocessor is fully inserted. If it's partially installed, it can do weird things.

EGRT (pin 53 on 91-93 ECU I think), is something people used to do a long time ago for monitoring 0-5volt signal on MMCd. Chrome does not use that pin for monitoring or dataloging WBO2 (hence the reason you're not reading correct WBO2 results on the LCDBC). Your best bet is to move or add another splice to the WBO2 signal, and have it go directly into the LCDBC WBO2 input. You get a speed bonus when you datalog WBO2 via LCDBC instead of ECU.
