maybe the steeringwheel controls could be a good place for it. It seems to be about the same size as the box.

Too low. I wouldn't want to look that far down to see what's going on. I like having mine in the tach and mounting it on the steering column would give you excellent visibility. I had my Scanmaster setup that way.

And yes the plastic case was done on the 3D printer.

What does it block if mounted on the steering column? High beam indicator. I don't recall what the other ones beside it are.
what is the height of this all in one box?

    Question:

I have the audio alarm levels for temp and knock set at 235 and 10, respectively.

Overboost is no longer an issue.

I'm boosting less than 13psi, knock doesn't report more than 6-7 counts, and temp is not a problem, yet I get the audible alarm as boost builds, around 5K rpm.

    What's up with that?

    Height is approx 38mm.

When your alarm sounds, have you checked the screen to see what is being reported? It will flash momentarily the offender, ie, knock, coolant temperature, or overboost.
