finally got to run her at the track fri!!

i ran pretty consistent all night. first run i ran a 12.1 @121-1.82 60ft. Then pretty much 12.2-12.3 rest of the night. got real cold and my hard street tires suck. was in the 1.85's 60ft all night. just need to figure the launch out better. i think in the vid i ran a 12.2 in that one. i was bump reving and built boost to around 7-10 psi. pretty good, spun a bunch coming out. friggin start area sucks bad. i need to get some drags or slicks. ugh..

    vid is post #40

121 is pretty good, but I would think at 121 you would be better. You need to get the 60ft down. On streets, I still can cut a 1.6 flat in almost any awd mitsu car I have driven (auto or manual). Also, my FWDTT ran 11's at that trap speed with a 1.85 60ft, so I think you should be able to beat that 60ft you got even on streets with some practice. But good runs overall and for the elevation.

    92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD Auto = 10.61@127.8 (1.4 60ft)
    94 3000gt SL 8:1TT 5spd getrag = 11.87@123 (1.8 60ft)
    91 3000gt VR4 13gs = 11.61@115 (1.59 60ft)

That's a very respectable time Mike. We lose about half a second here at altitude. And the DA had the track conditions at 6400ft above sea level when you made that pass . Get rid of those pig heavy seats and lay off the sodipop for a couple of weeks

Well... I don't think 12.1 is a good time for your mods, regardless of elevation sapping power somewhat. Your sig says you have 19T's and E85, with 492awhp. That number ought to be a lot higher, especially considering that VR3.9 just got 500awhp with 13T's and E85. Granted, he's pretty much at sea level, but a well tuned car with 19T's should have about 100 hp more than a 13T car. I see you've got an AEM, so your tune should be much better than what VR3.9 is able to accomplish with his piggybacks and no timing control.
