You've installed a higher flowing FPR as well?

Got a fuelab 515 and adapters etc but that will be installed after the hotwire. Just doing things one at a time when ever I get a few hours spare.

Installed hotwire kit. Definitely needs a fpr though cus it's now running rich. Will start on it tomorrow.

Installed nylon braided line and fuelab 515 fpr with gauge. Not really happy with the return line but there was nowhere else to run the line. Plus I didn't want any sharp bends.
Temporarily relocated the resistor pack. It will be deleted once I install the new injectors anyway.
Had to modify the mounts for the washer bottle as well because it hit the gauge.

Got the car running after this. Set fuel pressure at approx 45psi and it idled at about 12~13 mark but once I got it on boost it actually started to get richer. Previously on stock FPR, stock pump, stock injectors and NO hotwire it maxed out fuel wise on the old 9b's at only 12psi. Now with the 13T's, upgraded fuel system but still stock injectors it's got heaps of life left. Should have done this so long ago. I have only had them all on the shelf for about 2 years

The only thing that concerns me now is that a few times the NGK AFX wideband reset after boosting then suddenly getting off the throttle. I wired it directly to the battery and a rocker switch to turn it on & off. The manual says it can reset if the voltage drops below 11v so i don't turn it on until the car has started. Is it possible the voltage is spiking as I the revs suddenly drop when I get off the throttle?

Almost a year since the last update anyway...

Installed a 3SX downpipe and a HKS Twin Power DLi. Also rewired the power to the NGK AFX and modified the fuel hanger, secured the pump better, did away with the stock o-ring setup and used some fuel line between the hanger and pump. Also made the pump slightly lower.

Same exhaust as this but the earlier one in steel not stainless Steel. Fitted up with no issues at all. Sounds a little louder now LOL

Spent almost 2 whole days cutting and polishing the car till it looked like new. Also changed both carrier bearings and the front drive shaft section due to a seriously fucked unit joint.

    Video of 1st uni joint.

Used to look like this (except worse as this pic is 2 years old)

    Now like this

Then while on the Australian National Gathering the timing belt tensioner pulley came loose. Car made noises and stopped LOL. Suspect pistons into valves etc. Am yet to confirm but it's looking 99% that way. Was only cruising in a 60km/h zone so possible it's OK but I doubt it.

Bought an inspection camera to look into the cylinders and check for damage to the pistons. Haven't had time to look yet. All I know for sure at this point is that the intake valves are bent on the front bank. I was going quite slow when it happened so i suspect the pistons will be fine. I have aquired another set of heads. So if pistons are ok I'll get those recon'd and buy new head gaskets and a timing belt.
