That mount looks to be very stiff... Solid steel? Nice build. I think a lot of us r on the slow pace upgrade path

Was a stuffed mount so just cut the rubber out and welded a 3mm steel plate on either side.

Fitted new shifter bushes. Shifter used to flop side to side. Now it's stiff Had previously also bought solid shifter base bushes and solid shifter cable bushes. I bought 2x kits for the latter but turns out I don't need the base bushes or the 2nd set of cable bushes. My base is already rock solid and the rubber & plastic bush on the shifter cable at the shifter end is fine. Nothing wrong with it [haven't looked at the transmission end yet]. I did however replace some of the other plastic bushes.

On my car the only bushes that where worn where the bushes between the shifter and the rod.

As per this picture [from 3sx] under where the nut is. There are 2 black plastic bushes.

    Bushes

And the bush on the c-link where you can see the circlip. The part number for this is identical to the part number for the shifter bush but I only ordered 2 [should have ordered 4]. I also ordered the 2 white bushes that sit on either side of the return spring [white bushes in pic above] but mine had nothing wrong with them so I cut about 2mm out of each one and used them inplace of the black ones. As per the pic below.

I also just did this. I wasn't happy with the way the light spread on the new dials with the standard globes. I then tried to replace them with red LED lights but it was actually worse due to the way the LEDs gave of light. Just replaced the 5 main lights with traditional red globes and it looks much better I recon.

Both from ebay. Plastic shifter bushes from 3sx but they don't list everything so I'll find a post I made on the other forum which lists part numbers for everything you need. Solid base bushes and shifter cable bushes from split motorsports on ebay and globes from memory are standard T15 globes in red. Also from ebay. Will check next time Im on my pc to confirm. If yours has been modified then they may not work anyway. Send me a pick of the back of it.
