    Valve cover difference?

    Why is it the Mitsubishi valve cover has two bolt holes at the top of the cove that the Dodge valve cover doesn't have?
    1st place NG12 - Drags FWD 3S. 16.764 @ 83.88mph
    2nd place NG13 - Drags FWD 3S. 18.862 @ 75.62mph (with spun bearing)

    Is this where the plastic fuel injector harness cover bolts on?

    No, the harness cover bolts to the plenum. There is also two on the valve cover.

    O.k. mitsubishi used the same valve cover on the 3.5L engine for the montero. There was a cover that went from the plenum to the valve cover.

    That's the idea I was going for. I like the harness and wanted to make something like that but the Dodge cable cover doesn't have them so I guess I need a Mitsubishi cover.
