negative, ghostrider, the "talk-like-a-so-and-so" pattern is already full. it's bad enough i have to work with wannabee fighter-jocks who already try and emulate that shit 24/7.

i wish that they'd make a new movie about fighter jets that doesn't suck (ie: NOT iron eagle, stealth, behind enemy lines, etc). something without all the preppy lingo and dramatic BS of top-gun.

-the military is NOT comprised of a bunch of venice-beach-volleyball types (the 80's equivalent of our 2010's jersey-shore guidos).
-flying through jet-wash doesn't happen in training unless something is very, very wrong.
-mig 28's don't exist; and if they did, they wouldn't look like f-5's.
-most "dogfighting" happens well outside of visual range; meaning that evading in a dogfight is almost always about the doppler notch--not yanking & banking.
-you can't outmaneuver current-generation heat-seeking missiles.
-first look, first shot, first kill means that the enemy is dead before he even knows you're there.
-the f-14 is only in service with iran; we haven't flown it since 2006.
