Smoke on acceleration

I'm getting smoke when ever I take off or just get back on the gas. Is this the VSS going south? Just looking to get this cleaned up cuz it looks terrible leaving a stop light or parking lot.

The smoke only occurring when accelerating away from a stop is a tell tale sign of bad valve stem seals.

I had this same issue, then I replaced my VSS and the smoke went away. Also it was no longer embarrassing to drive my 3000GT. Double bonus.

depends what colour smoke you're burning

But yea, your VSS are going/gone.

Looks white-ish/blue haze. That's why I figured the seals right off. I noticed it before but only first thing in the morning. I followed my wife home yesterday and that's when I REALLY noticed how bad it was.

Blue haze = Oil
Purple haze = Mary Jane

Purple haze = rolled down windows
