After submitting my research paper for the last class I took, this was the feedback I received...

"YOUR PAPER WAS OUTSTANDING!! I have taught this course many times, your paper was the best I have seen. It is a model for excellance. You incorporate all the requirements in an extremely well-written and articulate paper. It was balanced and demonstrated outstanding critical thinking skills. The only "30" I have ever given! Congrats. Well-deserved for your great work."

Made my day.

Edit: 30 was the max grade... it was worth 30% of my grade.

Met the new Captain (Commanding Officer) of the submarine base I work at, he was simply down in the working area looking around. He was in the working uniform, the blue camo 2 pc uniform. I made eye contact with him from a distance and didnt see he had eagles on his collar, lol. It was close to the end of the shift so I just approached him and he was very curious about how we work and what we do. I talked with him for about five minutes. I was very impressed with him, seems like a great guy who might actually give a shit about the people that makes his job exist. A much better improvement from CO's of the past.

Oh yea I'm 21 mpg in my vr-4, that made me happy.

Realizing that my electric fence will without a doubt keep my huskie in the yard, even though the breeder said it would never work. Deer are outside the boundary of the fence, it if dog moved anymore to the right he would have gotten shocked.

Wow. Great job training them with the new fence. We've thought several times about getting one, but it won't keep OTHER animals out of our yard which can bring trouble.
