    Motor Mounts

Hey I need new motor mounts should I get solids, or just some new rubber mounts?

It depends. Do you plan on racing the car? If so, I'd recommend solids. If you are just going to DD then rubber mounts are perfectly fine.

There's been a lot of talk on this. I have solids in my car and before buying some people told me the vibration is crazy and others say it is barely noticeable. I have to admit that for being solids the feel is exceptionally smooth. The only time I am reminded that they're solids is when I have the car in too low of an RPM to be accelerating but I try it anyhow :P. Some people even say that doing them half and half is a great idea...like you get the best of both worlds but don't quote me on their opinions.
60% of the time, my car works every time.

I put solids in mine mainly for the cost reason. Unfortunately, i bought into the "it's hardly noticeable" argument. Bright side is it gives free massage's when i drive it. However, most of the vibration seems to be coming from the transmission and the mount associated with that. So i am gonna replace that with a poly and my day should be better.
Your 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL is one of 4310 that received VIN numbers. Based on the order of the serial numbers, your car was the 2685th out of the 4310 that were made that year.

If you are an automatic then that could very well be the case. I have heard on a few occasions of the atx being almost unbearable with the solids.

Just go poly mounts and be done.. Its the best of both worlds.. And I think they are still on sale from 3sx.

I LOVE my maximal solids... vibration is minimum and it is my daily driver. If anything it just helps me feel more "in tune" with the car. Go with solids, you can't beat the durability and performance they offer and at a great price!

The difference between polys and solids is minimal when it comes to vibration.
