Finally, a new 13T World Record. Details inside

Decided today was as good as any to use my free hour of tuning I won at Texas Gathering. No hype no crowds just me and 3 other guys counting Steve, the dyno owner.

I tried to beat the record 472awhp at the TX2k11. Got 471 running out of injectors on following pulls. So I turned fuel pressure up 55 and retuned.

    1st pull - 493awhp @ 19psi

Tried turning up the boost hit about 24 after about 5600rpm just fell apart.
Next pull 491 still going a little nuts past 5600rpm.

Let it cool for about 15 minutes and turned the boost down a little.

4th pull 501awhp @ 21psi. It still wanted to fall apart at 5600 again but made it through it. Unfortunately my camera man must have got too excited and turned it off before he went to the screen, but I got a dyno sheet and 3 witnesses.

Most powerful 13T car in the world @501awhp, PTE 780CC injectors, AFPR, E85, Greddy Profec B, 3.5" Granatelli MAF, MAFT, SS Headers and O2 housings front, 3SX downpipe, CRX racing FMIC, Dejon intake pipes, Ground Controls, Maximal adjustable rear control arms, Maximal TC Brace, Poly front and rear mounts, Vacuum Reduction, EGR block off plate, Hot Wired Walbro 255 and inline Walbro 255, Southbend stage 3 clutch, Slotted and vented rotors, SAFCII, Turbo XS BOV, 3SX FP hotwire, Seatle Short Shifter, Jackhammer timing gears: Best 1/4 mile 12.33 at 114.9 mph 1.79 60ft.

Congradulations, pretty stout numbers there. Pretty much exactly what you set out to do... Looks like it might have a little more in it if you can solve the issue limiting you to 21 lbs.

yea the turbos seem to hit 24 with no problem, but i think I would have to do it on my first pull. I actually want to see if this happens to other people with crx racing front mounts. I've noticed a similar eratic, up and down wave on one other with a crx front mout. Probably not an issue when your driving because you get so much air, but I think it gets heat soaked pretty quick on a dyno. Would like more info on that before I make a conclusion.

We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.
