Me too! I was pretty sure tq would hit 500 before hp. In the past I've always made more tq than hp. I guess at some point tq just gets harder to make cause it still made more than I have before.

    Congrats, Mike.

By golly, you said you'd do it, too.

This is correct. It is impossible. Do not attempt. It is a complete waste of time.

For the love of all that is good..... don't go out and break my record.

    Actually,
Who knows I really think a good intercooler and a little cooler temps might make a difference. It was about 95 and 50% humidity don't know exactly how all the corrections work on that but I think it's still possible.

My build is an attempt to get as close as possible to the impossible. Build a car, cheap, fast and reliable.

If you take out the cheap and go AEM with speed density with a really good IC I'm sure there's more to be had.

    just 22 more ft/lbs and we're there.

Take me for a ride Mike. Looks like Texas will be a record setter this year.

Stock wastegates or just like Rob installed them. In fact since I assume they came off my old turbo's they have about 270k on them. Wastegates and timing, I guess the next things I need to learn about.
