I don't have one but some classmates do. They're really cool but definitely a luxury.

If the app support is good on that thing it will be AWESOME.
    Up and running!

It runs Windows 7. It's just a netbook. When the new iPad comes out with the retina display, the 10 hour battery life, and you can even Bluetooth a keyboard to one already. If you jailbreak your iPad, you can Bluetooth a mouse. There are even iPad cases that have built in keyboards. I dont think you can play real racing on that windows 7 machine. I'm not an apple fan boy. I'm just saying it's a different product.

    Save $2000?

Check http://store.apple.com to see how much an iPad costs.

This is a netbook, just a mini laptop. You cannot compare the 13in macbooks because they aren't netbooks. Those MacBook Pros are A LOT more powerful than that dell. Plus they have 10hr battery life as well.

This thing, by no means, is an iPad. It doesn't have GPS, accelerometers, or even as good of a graphics chip. The iPad can sense a lot more of its surrounds than that thing can, therefore, much better and in touch apps.

And if it means anything, my $1300 MacBook Pro is probably the most rugged portable computer I had. I refused to by a MacBook because of their price, but none of my $700 laptops lasted any where as long as my MBP has. I am killing myself for not having bought one before. The Apple Care is superb too!

This is nothing special. Tablet PCs have been out for a long time. We had a toshiba that rotated 180deg at the base of the screen and folded down. I am not a fan of Apple, and have a Droid myself, but these are two different classes of PCs. iPad is a giant iTouch, that is a tablet PC.

Exactly, this is all I am saying. I had an HP a few years back that was a touch screen, that swiveled 180 and shut, turning it into a "tablet". HP TX1410US to be exact. It was a piece of shit.
