1st Gen to 2nd Gen Airbag

Has anyone done it? I hate the looks of the 1st gen steering wheel. So, I bought a 2nd gen wheel and airbag. I know the wheel won't be an issue. However, will the airbag be direct swap or are the connectors different?

    Awesome!!!

Look like another thing I will be doing with the next two days off.

Also, to remove the gauge cluster, I just need to remove the black plastic trim around it right? I don't need to remove the dash? I have new plexiglass to go over the gauges and I'd like to put that in too.

The trim, and a few screws that hold the main gauges in. You only have to remove the dash if you want to get the center gauges out.
