TOC TOC! Engine Knock inside with video! Help me diagnose it.

    Hi,
I hope this is my lucky day and I hope this isn't rod knock.. but i don't know yet..

    The story:
After some laps at VARANO race track in Italy I looked to my oil temp gauge and I have seen a 320F value.. immediately lift the gas and gone out.
The car doesn'idle well and with that temp at idle the oil press was low and the light ON! I have immediately turned off the car and waited at least 30mins before start up again. At that point NO KNOCK!.. when I was in the track I had NO knock. At the new start up the oil press was fine but the knock was present.
The oil is Motul 300V competition 15 w 50 with very low miles (max 500).

    Here the video:

ack that sounds exactly like my friends 4 runner. We were dumb and said no way its rods cause it is kinda intermittent like yours. 10 miles later it seized when one of the rod caps busted off and caused real havoc. My guess is rods, ill never forget that sounds. Sorry bud

If it's coming from the top of the engine it could be really bad misfiring. Pull one plug wire at a time (or turn off injectors with mmcd - much better idea) to make sure the idle gets worse. If you pull one or two wires and nothing happens, it could be the wires, plugs, coils, or ptu. It does sound a little more mechanical though. If it is clearly coming from the oil pan area it is probably rod knock.
