So, the transformation has begun.
Off with the old...
This wire loom has seen better days...
So while everything's off, new loom and hold downs...
Here's another often over looked upgrade...
New bumper installed...
I found why so many people have these huge gaps between their bumper and the hood. If you don't install the bumper correctly, it'll seem like it's on all the way, but it really isn't. Took a while to get it all the way on.
Headlights are a little off too. I didn't know they could be moved, but there is some room for adjustment...
I got the headlight buckets to move a bit, but that's as far as they'll go.
New Hella fog lamps...
And I decided to go with black mesh behind the grill in this incarnation of my car...
Here's an idea of the mess in my garage. I normally park my Infiniti here, but it's been kicked out while the work goes on...
FYI, I'm doing all this work myself and I've never done anything like this before. I've pulled the fenders and sideskirts before, so swapping the sideskirts will go much easier, but that back bumper will be a challenge.
if you can't figure it out from stealth316, i can probably give you a few pointers. unfortunately, i still don't have any corner mounts for my r/t rear bumper though.![]()
They're made by Hella. I figured since my headlights and fog lights are Hella, I'd keep it in the family.
