how is that possible? the r/t sails are significantly WIDER than the base/es ones.

They still come around the front the same as the base /ES sails, but they're wider where they come down and meet the fender. The RT sails cover a big chunk of the rear fender that used to be exposed.

Pretty much, but I'm more of a mirrors driver, I don't turn my head around to look out the back windows very often.

Been working on the car some more the past few days, getting it ready for the NG. I decided to move the fog lights back a little, they were sticking out too far...

and today, I got out the random orbit polisher and a container of Auto Glym wax and I polished all the non-new paint and waxed everything.

All that's left is to get the coolant flushed and change the oil and then figure out what I'm bringing with me to Indy!

I'm checking out a place that sells commercial window gaskets tomorrow, I'll see if they have something that'll fill in that space. I used to do commercial window installation, so I know there's plenty of options out there.
We used garage door gasket to fill in the gap at the front of my CF hood.
    Worked perfect!

i'd be too tempted to paint it like the blue falcon & wear a mask everywhere.

You gotta watch waxing over fresh clear before it gets a chance to out-gas, like up to 6 months-
