Hopefully we waterboarded that info out of the guy who helped us put 2 in Osama Bin Asshole.

My only complaint about this event is the dumping of Osama in the ocean to "respect" his faith. After that crap smear danced on the graves of our people, we did him an honor as our last act towards him. If I knew exactly where that guy was dumped, I'd take a boat there and crap overboard then toss a shoe.
They dumped his body at sea because no country would accept it...you guys are bitching about having gitmo inmates on mainland US soil, imagine if they tried to bring OBL's body...

That's another thing I find a bit suspicious... This operation was carried out at night/early morning. By the time a few hours had passed and we heard about it, his body was already transported to a carrier, DNA samples and photographs taken, washed and cleaned, then dumped overboard... When/who did they ask to see if they would take the body? At the least, I figured Saudi Arabia would say yes, as well as Pakistan, if they were asked. It's already been said that no one outside of our government knew about the operation, so I don't think there would have been much time at all to ask who would take his body.

KSA said no, that was the only nation I'd heard of being asked.

It would have turned into a shrine for Muslim extremism, not good. I think we went about it the right way. Dump in international waters, he's fish food now, game over.

Well done to the troops, the CIA, and Presidents 43 and 44. Regardless of who gets to claim the kill it's a great day for America.

Was I put off by Obama's use of "I" when so much of this was an American effort, not "his" effort? Sure. But whatever, if he needs a pat on the back to feel good, so be it, good job President Obama. There, I said it. Doesn't make me an Obama supporter, give credit where it's due and move on.

At the end of the day, the modern Hitler is dead because of America's continued vigilance. It's a great day for America.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

Yeah, I don't think they took the time to ask any countries that probably would have said yes. And I agree with you, I wouldn't have asked them either, because of the reason you mentioned. The "official" line though, makes it sound like no country in the world wanted his body, and I think that is false.

i agree. this wasn't the "I, Obama" show...even though his speech made it sound that way.

i've been thinking more about bin laden being buried somewhere. it might have been a neat idea to let it become a shrine; then anyone comes to pay homage could be shot on site.

    p.s.

i especially loved the part where wolf blitzer blindsided the ambassador with the interview he did last year. it was the one where the PM emphatically insisted that bin laden was NOT in pakistan. lol!

I think comments like this are disgusting ^^^^ no-one is saying Osama is great [so don't misunderstand] but saying it would be great [to have shrine] so you can kill another human being is fucking offensive. I don't care what religion or believe you/they have. Please don't say shit like that. I just makes you sounds like a horrible person.

Keeping with Mulsim tradition the body has to be buried speedily(within 24 hours on average). This leaves no time to be playing phone tag around the world to see if anyone would accept his carcass. His home country (Saudi) was asked and they said no. I think that's more than enough. I think we all realize headlines tend to oversensationalize just a weeee bit.
