    Dsm 10.62 @125

Well my boost is up to 33 psi peak now and with 100 less pounds and I ended up running 10.62 @125 with a 1.51 60ft on the first run. They havent kicked me yet so I am going to try and improve still.

    Here is the video.

    92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD Auto = 10.61@127.8 (1.4 60ft)
    94 3000gt SL 8:1TT 5spd getrag = 11.87@123 (1.8 60ft)
    91 3000gt VR4 13gs = 11.61@115 (1.59 60ft)

OK I ran a second run before I got kicked.
    I ran a 10.61@127.9 with a 1.49 60ft.

The back story is I welded the wastegate hole on the o2 housing shut because I could only hold 28psi to redline. I went to norwalk on friday and it was holding 43psi to redline! I couldnt believe it but I was going pig rich and breaking up no matter what I did. It stalled all 3 passes down the track after it hit full boost.

SO I cut open the plate I welded but I cut the hole smaller than the o2 housing flange. ANd now it holds 33 psi to redline and it is running great with no break up.

I gained 6 mph and dropped 0.32 seconds from it. There is MUCH more left in this turbo if I can find out how to harness it.

Really it shows you that cams are unnecessary until you have a huge turbo or running really fast. This 10.6 is easy to replicate and the setup has more left in it as long as you can control boost, which I cannot until I get an external. BEcause the internal blows open at 28 even without vacuum.

LOL. Yea I have been there 5 times already. I cannot go back until I get a cage though. I wont run again until I go to the 3SNG, which rules dont count right? ANd then the DSM shootout.

I have the vid for the 10.61 too, it will be up soon. It seems crazy to me that so many awd 3S cars are going so slow ETs for such high traps. I had high traps and low ET on my 3000gt but mine was FWD (11.87@123), so I would think the AWDs would be much like my dsm, except for the fact I am on slicks. But even when I was on streets I ran 11.0 @121. But I do know my Auto helps a hell of a lot with the instant shifts.

Dang Chris, I didnt know I was that close to your street cars time! I just remember a 140+ trap and didnt know I was that close on ET.

thats why i was a little shocked. i wouldnt have thought that 0.04 sec faster required another 13mph. then again for all i know chris's run was on st tires in a full/fullish weight car. def intriguing. congrats on the 10 sec pass.
