    Info about Carbon Fiber Hatch

    This is what i did when i install the carbon fiver hatch .

    Stock hatch = 32.2
    Stock glass = 19.2
    Stck spoiler= 12.4
    Total= 63.8 (with no wiper and motor)
    ----------------------------
    Carbon fiber hatch = 20.6
    Lexan glass = 12.0
    Total = 32.6
    ---------------------------
    So now i have:
    Carbon fiver hatch = 20.6
    Stock glass = 19.2
    Total = 39.8
    ---------------------------
    The weigh saving with out the spoiler is 30.8 and if you want to put the stock spolier back on it still will be 18.4 less.

    there's some pics:

    Pretty nice, not as nice as the parachute on the rear though. That means you run over 150 mph right ?

    Nevermind, read your sig.

    I like the costume parts Nelson.

    I'm surprised the stocker weights 32lbs though.

    Hi Nelson, do you have any concerns about the pneumatic strut force? are the hatches reinforced in that area and the area where the spoiler mounts?

    Looks friggin fantastic!

    Which one is that Nelson? Does it seem like you and a friend could sit on the edge without it cracking? I ask because I'd love one of these but I also need to attach a wing to it that provides hundreds of pounds of down force. I've considered reinforcing one but I'm afraid i'll be right back at stock weight when I do that.
