Is the light on? The stock gauge is horrible.

Check the wiring and the stock sensor. Mine used to act all crazy and would sometimes drop to near nothing while driving. I thought my bearings were on their way out until I checked the wiring. It was frayed and not making a good connection. I fixed the connector and my pressure returned to a normal looking pressure on the gauge.

Yes, the stock gauge is not the most accurate as the car ages. An aftermarket gauge is easy to install and not to expensive, just for peace of mind.
I can't stand some of the stock gauges which is why I have a digital oil pressure/temp gauge on the pillar. I prefer knowing exactly what my pressure is instead of relying on ticks on a gauge.

Mines usually above the line when at 2k. I'd stop driving it until you figure it out.
Temporarily install a mechanical gauge to CONFIRM what your oil pressure really is. Rule of thumb is 10 psi for every 1k RPM. Stock gauge should read HOT on the lower long tick mark at idle and the upper one at highway speed. Watch your gauge as you accelerate. If it dips down before climbing up you have a bearing problem. If you just have low pressure its an oil pump problem.
My guess is replace the sensors (light AND gauge) and if the connectors and wiring are OK your readings will be back where they belong.
