Plus it just works better. Startup is faster. Definable knock freq. The extra memory. The password protection we have been asking for forever. There are a lot of things to like about the S2.

How much should I expect to pay to have one of these tuned? I'm in Australia so ignore cost just the hours. I'm in the market for a stand alone at the moment and at this price i'm reconsidering my ViPEC V44 drop in board.

Normally from install to done, including startup (cold, warm and hot), idle, cruising, tip in, coast etc, and WOT tuning you are looking at 6-8 hours. But it depends on the tuner. If they have a good base map and knowledge of the 3S it can be less. Every car is different, some tune easy, some have a quirk that makes them harder. The setup/mods can play into it as well.

It is a feature and a VERY nice one. Wish the series 1 had it. Many of us tuners wish it did for years now. It's nice they added it.
