So in the process of rebuilding a 93 Stealth TT I found that the fuel hardline running underneath the car was damaged and repaired. There is a brass compression fitting right near the front subframe and a new line running up into the engine bay. They had the fuel filter just dangling as the new line was way to long to mount the fuel filter in the stock location. I used the old fuel line from my N/A parts car "Tank side was damaged" and replaced the new section with a piece of stock section so that I could mount the fuel filter in the stock location. So now it all is back to stock except for the compression fitting. I don't know how well I trust the compression fitting and the car is not at a point where I can pressure test the fuel system for leaks. I am wondering if it is possible to replace the stock hard line with braided hose! I guess my real question is going to be what fitting would I need to connect the hose to the stock fuel pump and what fittings would I need to use to connect to the stock fuel filter? I'm thinking of replacing the stock loop at the filter with a -6AN straight fitting or banjo fitting. I have NO clue what to use for the fuel tank side! Any suggestions????

you can replace the line with braided line, I highly recommend using a Teflon lined EFI line. the non-lined hose will not last long. Im actually engineering a kit now with SS hard lines underneath the car and a complete change to AN fittings throughout the rest of car. I use an aircraft fab shop near me that has and makes lines for fuel lines for racing. if you were interested in something custom, let me know.
I want to stick with flex lines not SS as I don't want to have to remove the rear and front subframes to install new hardlines. I have an additional stock hardline but I can't get it in without dropping the subframes as a can't maneuver it through the tight areas with it already being pre-bent. Flex hose is really my only option at this point. I am running AN fittings from the top of the filter to the rails. I just need to know what "if possible" the fitting to connect the fles 16AN line to the stock pump. I don't want to have to drill out and tap the hanger at this time to replace the stock fitting with AN fittings. I have another pump hanger I intend to upgrade to AN fitting but I need to get the car running and tuned first before I start doing major mods to it. I am running a 10:1 N/A motor with TT conversion. I plan on building up a TT block later on. But for now the N/A block will suffice until I can work out all the other issue with the car.
