Hello all. I am getting ready to take apart my glass headlights, I know there is a thread about how to do this. However, I am wanting to know what I will need to take care of this "crack" like lines in my headlights. Below is a picture showing what I mean: Will that clean out or will I need cerium oxide to polish that out? Thank you for your time,
I can definitely see water spots on the glass, which you can polish out easily. Not sure about the scratches though or how they would get on the inside.
They are definitely on the inside too, I just cleaned that headlight with windex and newspaper.
Looks like small rock chips all in the glass. Mine has the same issues. I don't know if cerium oxide will work or not. Just be careful and don't get the glass too hot or it will shatter!
