Finally
July 2014 COTMWe follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.
My first test (if it ever gets this complex) would be to send a hot plate of food into next month and eat it when I arrive there.
I remember back in 06 07 when they OCed a computer using liquid helium to process qubits. It amazed me, I am glad they are getting father with it now.
If I remember right the article said, "Logically it processes so fast that it could predict the future." Or something like that.
Can anyone explain in something resembling english... How?
Using quantum entanglement they allow two particles become entangled with each other and one particle mimics the other no matter how far the distance instantly. Which is teleportation; hence quantum teleportation. The real gold here is not teleporting hot dinner into the future but teleporting binary data, even qubits as quantum computing advances, extraordinary distances instantly. In short: infinitely fast internet with zero latency. Oh not to mention how much this will revolutionize unmanned space exploration

So far that is teleporting an effect. And that effect can be coded as data. It is not certain that the real particles teleported. But the behavior or relationship which was unique was teleported.
This could be much more profound though for computing. We currently use binary each bit is either on or off. Only two choices per bit of data. With a quantum entanglement a much higher order is possible. Many more than 2 choices per bit of data. That alone would improve performance drasticallly. The extra speed is just a bonus.

Yes it is not actually true so called "star trek" teleportation but it may evolve to that level in the future.
