    Your Exhaust Setup?

I just got my exhaust done this weekend and I'm not entirely happy with
how loud it is. Believe me the tone is great but it seems to be a little loud at times
and for a daily driver i was thinking of possibly toning it down a little.

I went with a Flow-master Delta 40 Series from my test pipe with no resonators or
anything. It has great tone, but at times it almost seems too loud inside. I know a lot of people have the same setup but i know others do not.

I guess I'm curious what other people have for setups and if i did want to quite it down a little what would i do? Just add a resonator behind the muffler?

A resonator anywhere would help a lot with raspiness, and a little bit of loudness too. That's probably what I'd try first, but I hate raspy exhausts.

its really not raspy at all, it has a great tone to it, it just seems a little on the loud side.
maybe ill take a vid tomorrow and post it up.

Either way, a resonator will likely help quiet it down in the cabin. Are the tips sunk under the bumper, flush, or do they stick out? If they're sunk it can make it even louder in the cabin.

I have a 3 inch catback, that splits into 2.75 and then goes through glass packs on each side and tips on the end. Loud as hell. Drone in the cabin is very loud. But boy does she scream when I lay into her.

    things to try:

    1. silencer tip (won't quiet it, but will help)
    2. resonator--either before or after the muffler (the more the merrier).
    3. (my option) high-flow cat.
    4. longer/wider muffler (eg. 21" instead of 17" canister).

No cat AND no resonator makes for a shitty sounding exhaust. Put a resonator in as suggested and fix it up.

I'm not a big fan of flowmaster on anything but a V8. +1 on the resonator

I am still stock. My wish is for a free flowing 3 inch exhaust that sounds as close to stock as possible. I want it as close to quiet as the stock is. Or as close as possible.
Does something like this exsist? From the OP and others that have posted over the years I think this option does not exsist. If it does exsist what is it exactly I would like to know.
