    Deft Racing VLS door struts

Does anyone have a solution for failure of the lambo door struts on the Deft Racing VLS lambo doors? I know that I can send them to Frank at StrutWise in Vancouver, but I'd sure like to have a spare set, or a long term solution since I've now had to repair them twice.

    Ace Controls Inc.

I haven't tried these guys myself, but if mine failed, I think they'd have the replacement damper on hand. Just have to give them the size and threading needed to replace the old ones.

has anyone tried to look on the struts to figure out a part number so they can look it up and then match it to another company that makes the struts? most auto parts stores should have a book with all different lengths/strengths.

find a part number on the strut, figure out the specs on it, then get a different brand strut with the same specs
