    belt size?

    i was wondering if anyone knows what size belt i would use if i took my ac compressor out or part# would be nice...?

    Gates/Napa/Carquest #060390 might work, not 100% sure though.

    u can also use the # of ribs and diameter of belt
    or take the old one in

    or are you talking about doing an ac delete?

    I removed the idler and tensioner pulleys, notched the alternator bracket slightly to clear the belt run ans used a 6pk1000 belt on my 1st gen GTO TT.
    GTO-TT, PTE 1200's, M20, Emanage Ultimate, OS Geiken R3C,
    TD04-16g`s, Maf-t. 13g`s 12.4@115mph / 16g`s 12.5@117mph.

    also, as i was saying earlier, all you should need is the # ribs and diameter
    should be able to get the belt you need at your local autostore for less than $20
    i've been buying almost everything from advance for the past year or so
    buying online i manage to get somewhere between 30% to 40% off of every purchase

    any mentioned #s won't be right if you don't have a stock size crank pulley
    to get the diameter you can take a string or small rope or whatever and route it around the pulleys, then measure the string
    do this with the tensioner pulley adjusted all the way up and again with it all the way down
    2 different #s, one probably 37ish and the other probably 39ish
    somewhere in the middle is the size belt you want
