noo.... Not through the water or oil passages, just past the rings and down to the crankcase. If it were going through your water passages and oil passages in the block you'd have a head gasket issue.

so if it's pressurising the crank case...how is this pressure transferring back up into the heads if not though the coolant and oil passages?

Well no, you're right. It makes its way up to the heads because the pressure obviously equalizes throughout the engine, but the water passages are sealed and should not be affected by crankcase pressure.

Cool cool, not trying to proove anything here...just understand it thanks for the info!

I wonder if that explains why the oil drains from play engine (a spun bearing 6g74) were coked up...maybe the blow by was creating some sort of substance that over time blocked them up!

I'm convinced that this 74 spun the bearing due to it pumping all the oil into the heads and starving.

A very common occurance. Usually it occurs due to some stupid additive being poured in the engine. Water vapor and heat most likely cause massive amounts of sludge though. Clogged all the returns and just starved the crank, like you said.

My setup is different from yours, I have no intake pipes. But regardless, it depends on the amount of blow by you have. I don't accumulate a whole lot.
can you tell me if i got this correct just to make sure thanks! i will cut the hoses to make it look cleaner.

yep that setup works fine, you can squeeze a catchcan just to the left and down from the fuse box if you want:

see that little blue scratche up spot between the fuse box and the filter:

Really? How's that considering the catch can is a sealed container?

All it does is give a place for the oil mist to seperate and drop out of suspension, thus collecting at the bottom of the can.
