The Ducks got outplayed last night. Nashville had the better goalie, and defense. I expect the Ducks to bounce back tomorrow.

Yeah, we didnt show up for that game last night. It was horrible to watch. sloppy passes, coughing up the puck, no defense at all. it wasnt Ellis' fault by much (although there were 2 soft goals from point shots that shouldnt have gone in). that said, we had no D whatsoever, and that gave Nashville the chance to shoot.

and not that im defending my team, but the horrendous officiating just made things worse. Nashville got away with quite a bit last night. calls against us were marginal at best, and you could tell they were frustrated by the 2nd period.

but even if the calls went our way, it still doesnt change the fact we played like shit last night and gave the game to the Predators. we could have had the same number of power plays (9 vs the 4 we got) and we still wouldnt have won that game.

yeah i was at the game, going back tomorrow for game 2.

Just in case ya'll missed it the first time I said it . . .

As for bad officiating, could go either way. I'll chalk it up to a combination of officiating AND sloppy play. The Wings were shorthanded 5 times before they ever went on the powerplay last night. Luckily the Yotes couldn't convert.

It was more horrible play last night for us. we just didnt show up for the game. the officiating is moot really. all it did was frustrate us. we were watching the DETxPHX game in the jumbotron before our game. that was quite a matchup.

You know its a bad game when you start blaming the officiating. I expected the Ducks to comeout of the gate a little stronger. Im expecting a bounce back for sure.

As for the all the other games, they went pretty much as expected sans Carey Price standing on his head.

Watched the Sharks Kings game last night. I thought the Sharks were going to blow the Kings away but they held their own. There is definitely a lot of quality goal tending in this playoff race.
