For those whose teams made it to the playoffs, lets start the discussion, predictions (and smack talking ) here.

West: Round 1

well vancouver is rocking the top of the league pretty hard..... but they are playing chicago so if history repeats, haha. I say van over chicago in 6

As much as I hate to admit it, Vancouver will be tough to beat by anyone.

They are my pre playoff pick for the cup.

they've been cup contenders for the better part of the last decade and have never gotten out of the west (hell, half the time they don't get out of the 2nd round).

I'd like to see a Wings/Nucks matchup in the WCF.

I think the Preds will sneak by the Ducks, don't know why, just have that feeling.

everyone seems to favor Nashville. we did have a crappy series with them this season (1 out of 4), but to our credit, we put Hiller back on that last game where the usually low-scoring Predators put 3 behind Hiller in less than 7 minutes. We lost that game 4-5 but take away the 3 due to a cold goalie and we could've evened that series.

Wings\Nucks would be a great series for the conference finals.

The Preds are elusively good. If they can get their opponent to play their style of game, they can be very hard to beat. They just dont have the fire power to contend with the Wings\Nucks.

Just in case ya'll missed it the first time I said it . . .

As for bad officiating, could go either way. I'll chalk it up to a combination of officiating AND sloppy play. The Wings were shorthanded 5 times before they ever went on the powerplay last night. Luckily the Yotes couldn't convert.

It was more horrible play last night for us. we just didnt show up for the game. the officiating is moot really. all it did was frustrate us. we were watching the DETxPHX game in the jumbotron before our game. that was quite a matchup.
