Cool My complete rebuild thread With ton of pics and questions!

    Hey all,

Well ive decided to start my tear down of the car to get it ready for body work and paint. Ill be changing color to a metallic white mixed for me by a friend of mine. The engine is toast so that is coming out and will be doing a flat or gloss black engine bay along with the underside of the hood to match.

body: So for body work i have a full novara 1st gen kit waiting to go on, along with vented fronts and the wide rear fenders. Lat42 Fixed headlight conversion, 99 sails(still have to get) and a victory hood. I wanted a ducktail (what ever its called) spoiler but the shipping was more then the part itself so i scratched that. Ill also be adding a 99 center garnish and tinting the tails.

Engine: next winter im planning on doing a full build with as it looks now: 3.1 ray shorty, dr stg 3 heads, dr750s, aem ems, meth. Cant decide between the greddy/3sx front mount or the oohnoo dcfmic. Both gonna cost the same as i would need a DN hardpipe kit. my power goals are peak around 630 but want to tune and run the car for 525 or so. I hope to have it running by next spring. for drivetrain it will be sce center diff quafie front diff and kaaz rear diff so it should handle pretty well.

The car will be a track/weekend warrier so i want to loose as much as possible. The ac is coming out and since the dash is now out i want everything removed that i can. I only wanna keep my heat just because. No active areo or anything like that so i have some pics of things im not sure what they are if you could tell me what it does so i can know to remove it or not.

Okay so enough talking onward with the pictures!!!

so the day i bought it:

We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

Nice looking forward to follow this build. Looks like a clean base to work with.

Yea it's a pretty decent base. Most of the interior is going back in except for seats. While it's all out my buddy who's painting the car is gonna shoot all the interior pieces black for me. I'm excited to see how it turns out.

I love the wheels too since what I really want is out of the budget(advan model t5 or whatever it is) but can't decide which color to do them! Leave em bronzy or black or gun metal.
