    You can test the MFI relay independent of the car. Pull your battery and grab some spare wire a couple feet long. When connecting and disconnecting the - wire on the battey terminal the relay should click.

    + to 10, - to 8
    + to 9, - to 6
    + to 3, - to 7

    Edit: Here is a diagram, along with a picture of what the inside of the relay looks like. (for those who might be curious)
