Went to the pick-a-part again. Got a pristine radiator and a pristine non-ABS proportioning valve as well as two pristine master cylinder brake lines. Seriously, it looks like they all had been installed the day before the car was sold to the junkyard. Good for me because I get to save a lot of money.

VR4Rob came over to help me replace the fuel filter while I reinstalled the oil pan. Then we both worked on getting the front and back roll stops out. He convinced me to find someone with a press instead of installing the Prothane inserts myself. Just have to find someone to do it locally.

If you can't find somebody with a press then a vice will work to press them in. You still might have to resort to some fire and chisel/punch for the metal ring to get the old inserts out.

I've heard a sawzall works well for the metal ring as well. I'll probably bring them with me to Ozark this weekend. Come to think of it, I can probably venture down to the Auto Craft Shop on Ft. Rucker as I'm sure they have a press available.

You could always check out R&R speed and machine shop on Meridian street for pressing. They do excellent work and reasonable prices, though sometimes they take longer than they should since they have tons of customers. They machined, assembled, and balanced my short block.

I've heard some good things about them. Fortunately I was able to find someone with a press they will let me use. I'll try to get it done Monday.

In the mean time I can try to install my non-ABS prop valve and master cylinder lines tonight. I picked up a few parts from the dealership today. While I was there I asked for recall info on my car to see if the transfer case recall had been done, but it didn't cross my mind that I needed to ask a Chrysler dealership instead of a Mitsu one.

Kind of like the dodge dealership sending stealth owners over to mitsu. Making a run to mitsu. Kerry and Tommy are both good ol' guys. Kerry (the parts and service manager) used to own a 3000gt years ago. They know me pretty well, but part of that is my uncle being the used car manager there and the other part is all the OEM parts i've orderd with them.

Yeah, I've become a familiar face up there. They don't quite know me by name yet though. I usually get a guy with glasses but today I got the parts manager. He took 10% off for me but was still suprised at the cost of a downpipe stud ($9.00).

Took out the front brake lines and ABS proportioning valve and put the non-ABS proportioning valve in. Need to buy two front brake lines.

Also got my FMIC in but my j-pipe was not included. I sent Tiago @ VSRF an email and he's been pretty good about getting back with me so hopefully I'll get one sent to me soon.

UPS delivered a Summit Racing order 3 houses down. Had to go get it. LOL.

Getting closer and closer every day.
