    Exhaust Help

Hey I have been having some issues with the mesh on my down pipe. I have a 3sx down pipe and have had the mesh rip on it then replaced it and it sounds like it is doing it again. Would like to do just a steal pipe but don't really want to do solid motor mounts. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

Check your mm. If they are ok then use a longer piece of mesh. Many of these have rediculously short pieces. Any decent muff shop can do it.

Agreed stop the motor from moving that's what is causing too much stress on the flex section.

Buy them directly from Maximal Performance. You'll likely get a better price from the source.

Yeeeap, definitely happens when the mounts are letting the motor move around too much. You've got Terry's over at Maximal Performance and I also believe Split Second Motorsports (both in sponsor's section) sells them as well.

I've got the harder poly mounts and they transmit plenty of vibrations I'd be hesitant to get solids....that's just me though
