To buy or not to buy... Pics inside.

well my uncle has a friend who owns his own little garage about 15 minutes from me. Word on the street was he had a 94 or 95 dodge stealth R/T sitting on blocks because someone left it over a year ago, unable to get a hold of the owner. So my uncle said "you know my nephew owns a 93 turbo adn was looking to maybe do a front end conversion. I will give him a call".

Call me he did adn I went to look at it yesterday, what I found was so sad... The body is in near perfect shape its Silver Pearl so know its a 94 now adn he said before they took the tranny off to replace the flywheel/clutch the engine ran great. Sadly a year or so of sitting adn the driver window being rolled down slightly doesnt help.

To the point. Do I buy this for what he said "a few hundred bucks" with no title (the reason the guy left it because he couldn't get a title for it or was too lazy to try) for somewhere between $300 adn $500? I figure even if I dont do the conversion adn sell the body parts amongst other things I figure maybe I could get about $1k from that. Heres the thing though, I really wanted to get it on the road again adn have an N/A as a DD (SOHC, manual btw). But I get the feeling it would take a lot of money adn work if it would even run right if I could even get the title. So heres the pics as me anything adn I will tell you what I know. ohh adn the lights are in the guys garage he took them out to keep them from being stolen. (car does NOT come with rims or tires)

    What would you do?

I'd say yes for body parts/ parting out, no for restoring. That's a lot of work and money to bring that back to life. You'd do it if it was a '96 TT, but not for a '94 ES.

I think I would offer $100 and if he didnt take it I would be kind of glad I wouldnt have to deal with it. If I had the same exact car model that would be different

What sort of body conversion would you do with ES body panels?

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

There's no such thing as ES in 94+ That's a 94/95 SOHC Base model, not an R/T. For a car without a title, it's worth scrap metal price. Like $300. Then bring it to the scrap yard.

i would buy it just so i could extract the windows, gaskets adn sails intact. and that front bumper would make a good sacrificial piece for a custom bumper.
