    **MHI Turbo Pricing Increase**

I just got off the phone with two of our turbo suppliers, and to my delight, we were informed that they received a letter last Thursday, noting a pricing increase of roughly $800 or so on MHI 13G's and I believe two of the Evo turbos (??). I kind of zoned out after he said 13G's.

So, expect to see pricing on a lot of td04 turbos rise across the board. We will be changing the pricing on out td04 turbos according on our parts site. Home

They are not sure if it is a permanent pricing increase, or just temporarily. Hopefully it is just temporary.

Just thought you guys may want to know

This seems to be consistent across -most- industries. Manufacturers froze or even dropped prices during the "depression" and are finally getting to the point where they can't survive much longer at those low margins.

I work at a HVAC distributor. 90% of our manufacturers raised prices 5-8% January 1st and the rest did it March 1st.

The depression isn't over. I'm very curious to see what price increases will do to the economy.

13Ts are probably the only td04 upgrade that I will ever have. td05/6 should be next.

I figured it would have something to do with the Japan situation, where those turbos come from.

According to our supplier, it's nearly doubled their cost. It's a bit different than a 5-8% increase
