NA Intake Facelift

Had a local machinst fab me an aluminum bracket similar to the 3sx one and had my janky ebay intake and the bracket powder coated black. Got some cheap couplers & a K&N filter from Advance :/ Looks way better though.

I absolutely hate this intake (came with the car) but I don't want to spend $200 on something that will do the same thing.

Not bad at all, can you get a whole engine bay picture? I did this to mine to get the new TB in after seeing a 3KGT with this type of intake and I loved it. except they had a 4">3" reducer 90deg bend where it bolts onto the MAF.....I dont have the $ for one of those bends so just adapted it to the stock 90deg bend.

This is my effort. made a mount that encloses the K&N oval filter and mounts to the factory air boxes mounting bolts. It's solid as a rock and should stop hot air from the engine bay from being sucked in. There is also a lid that goes over it but I'm to lazy to finish it and bolt it on.
