Unhappy Well guys, "Black Betty" has been laid to rest :(

As im sure you all remember I sold Black Betty (MINT 94 3000GT SL) in Sept 2010. I learned most of what I know about cars through this car. I spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on the car fixing every little thing. It was such a fun car. I actually liked to drive the car more than I do my current car. (2006 Grand Prix GXP)

I will be buying another 3k soon. Stay Tuned.

She was bought and driven to Texas where the new owner took great care of her. However I received a phone call this morning telling me that she was totaled. I guess a semi jackknifed in the road and the driver of the car could not stop and actually slid under the semi. It appears as if he clipped a tire or something but....here are the pictures.

Airbag did deploy and he was okay. He was going 70 mph when this happened.

That was such a great car, it is killing me to see these photos

So sad to see, I remember those pictures from an old thread on the other site talking about car wax. I never could get my black to look that deep.

Yea, I used the Turtle Wax Black Box on it. That was one long and tedious task! The paint no the car was in great shape.

It's just very weird for me to feel so bad about a car that is not even mine. You can tell you really loved a car when that happens. If I could...I would seriously get this car back and rebuild it.
