So your gauge was faulty? jesus christ....unreal...
Are you running the gauge in car or in the engine bay?

It is an external gauge pulling a reading right off the rail. The gauge itself is in the car.
Well Im not surprised it stopped working, the surprising things are:
Its almost brand new and a good quality unit,
It gave an accurate reading with the engine off but went to zero with the engine on.
It gave a convincing display of a dying fuel pump. When this started it swung between 40 and 20 and continued that till I got it home.

    I dont think so
I wired it according to the instructions and it worked well for a year and maybe a hundred miles.
