    Question about gaskets

I am planning on taking the heads out of my Stealth TT and thought a gasket set would be a good idea. My question is about which 3SX kit I should go with.

This one is cheaper and has MLS head gaskets but they're not OEM.
Engine Gasket Kit Complete DOHC Non-OEM 3000GT/Stealth*-*Mitsubishi 3000GT*/*Dodge Stealth Parts

Would I be better off spending the extra to get this set which is OEM (but also quite a bit pricier. I may need some of the lower engine gaskets because I have an oil leak that I still need to track down)?

I'd go with oem on the important gaskets like the head gasket and rear main seal. Other gaskets like the valve cover gasket, you can save a lot of money by going non-oem, in this case with the fel-pro set which is only $48 for both upper and lower @ oreillys.

Check cherry hill for oem - MitsParts.com
Rockauto might have something, they have 5% off coupon too - RockAuto Auto Parts
Also, check IPS, they have the complete upper gasket kit for $240 here: IPS Motorsports

I went with some non oem gaskets on my car and thus far, as I am sure the list will be getting larger, I have or have had leaks at the thermostat housing to the rear head, two cam seals, both oil drain line gaskets on the turbo side, the front valve cover and somewhere else that I can't track down yet. I went with the Eristic gaskets on eBay and regret it to the utmost. I don't expect 3SX's non oem set to be much different. Currently I am awaiting some additional funds so that I can order a full oem set and just start swapping gaskets that leak when they leak or as soon as I get to them. Just my .02, but I wish I read of someone who had my fantabulous results before I bought the non oem guys.
