Ok got the wideband and the tt fuel pump is on the way. Now just to be sure can I just leave the narrowband hanging or whatever and put the wideband in place of that.

Which wideband did you get, mine has 1v and 5v out so I can splice into the old line and not throw a cel, and the 5v is for my logger.

Knocking when shifting is most likely due to the N/A ECU not having the fuel maps to adjust the ACLE "Accelerator enrichment" enough to stop the motor from going lean during shifts. If you pump the gas pedal hard and let off I bet you will see knock also. this is all controlled by the ACLE stored in the ECU. You need to either switch out to a TT ECU or standalone as ACLE is not adjustable with the SAFC.

You probably will want to disconnect the narrrowband rather than just let it hang so you don't risk it getting weird lean readings all the time. Your car will run probably run pretty rich in this condition, it will be in open loop all the time, and you may throw a CEL.

Ok something is very wrong here!!!! So I haven't had my logger hooked up to the car for about a couple of days and I went from mmcd 1.5 TO 1.8. So I hook the logger up before I head to work and what I see on my there is just crazy. 26 counts of knock at only like 40% throttle l. WTF I wont be able to get the wideband in till this weekend so I can see my a/f ratio. I also haven't changed the plugs yet but I'm goin to try to get everything on this weekend. Also the wideband is a aem from eBay brand new. Let me also add that I was running low on antifreeze and the car was getting kind of hot so I'm goin to let it cool down a little and see what I get than. I would also like to thank everyone for your help. I really appreciate it.

You should not be driving the car like this, but since you apparently have to, you really need to baby the crap out of it until you get the fuel pump in. Try to stay under 30% throttle. You should post up your logs or just type up the lines around the knocking. When you install your wideband you can run an output wire to the egrt input on the ecu and log it through mmcd. If there is something rattling around in the engine bay the knock detector could be seeing false knock, but I don't think this is the case here. What are the fuel trims at? With all the extra fuel, the ecu is probably doing it's best to lean things back out. You may be better off unplugging the narrowband(s) now and pulling the negative terminal of the battery for a few minutes to reset the ecu.

save your logs as .csv files then go to this site Zoho Sheet - Online Excel Viewer upload your file, it'll convert it to an .xls file which will be a lot easier to read. You could also delete the comma areas where nothing was being logged, then upload to that site and it'll have everything you logged, right next to each other so it's even easier to follow, but that's a lot more work than it's worth (if you understood that)

Anyway, good luck, baby your car and even then...when baby-ing it, keep the load light...

Another thing too, you can just take a screen shot of your log and post up as a picture, so more people will be inclined to view it, since they won't have to download it, to do that (incase you don't know) open log of to full screen, press print screen button, then open up mspaint and press control v

Finally, I got some logs up. Let me know if this is ok to view. This is from today. It was way cooler today then yesterday and these are just to short pulls. After the second pull you can see when it shifted it got some real bad knock and after the car seemed like one of the cyclinders wasnts hitting for a while then it smoothed back out.
