Gauging Interest - Custom Vinyl Decals

First off, this is my first post in the Classifieds sections....so if I don't follow procedure correctly, let me know.

This thread is to check you guys' interest in Custom Cut Vinyl Decals. Let me first clarify, I am not talking whole car vinyl work or things of a very large scale, I have a Roland 30" wide vinyl cutter, so more like Window stickers and things of that nature.

Basically you guys could tell me (or give me) a design that you want as well as color wanted and pricing will be dependent on

    -Intricacy of Design
    -Size
    -Color
    -and Quantity

I also have gloss clear overlays I can cut to give your decal added weather and sun protection, for a slight cost increase. These are true "die-cut" vinyl decals cut and layered from solid colored rolls of vinyl.....Avery brand.....quality stuff. And the designs do not have to be 3/S related, as you will see.

    Example of Work:

This a "Precision Shooting Equipment" Hunting sticker I made for a guy at work, Permanent Avery Black layered on top of 3M Engineering Grade Reflective White ($8)

This was a "Brownie Points" sticker I cute for my fiancee, the design was inspired by our Alaskan Malamute

    More Examples HERE

If you have a specific Logo or Brand you like you can PM me regarding the design.

I'm sure as questions arise ill see things I may have left out, but for now, I hope I got my ideas across. These make great gifts as well, or for part branding like brake calipers and such......all kinds of possibilities. Everyone likes stickers!

How is the adhesive on those guys? Also, how long would you guess the color would last in constant sunlight? I have some work decals that I need to replace once I get some funds going and they're fairly small. The ones I have I just tossed on less than a year ago and the adhesive is already peeling from my rear window and, even though I am probably the only one who notices it, it drives me crazy every time I wash the car.
60% of the time, my car works every time.

I use the same Vinyl we put on Nuclear Containment Vessels. They ship all around the world and have to deal with overseas transport. We promise our customers, that the chosen vinyl, along with a Clear Laminate Overlay, an outdoor life of 4-6 years depending on specific environments. I run the CNC Programming and Vinyl Signage Departments at Columbiana Hi Tech (Columbiana Hi Tech Nuclear) in Greensboro North Carolina.

As far as adhesive strength, that can really be up to you. Outdoor Permanent (Listed Above) will not come off unless scraped off. Then there is Intermediate use outdoor (1-3 Years Outdoor life). I generally keep Permanent and Intermediate in stock in several color options. For Indoor use I can get Permanent and Removable wall or multi surface vinyl.....so lots of options.

Do you have a design in mind or already made you could shoot me a picture or some info on?

Sorry for the long post, just want people to know the options

How well would the top line stuff hold up to heat? (brake caliper lettering)

I could definitely snap a shot of the decal I would need. If the color is guaranteed for that long is the permanent adhesive a total pain to remove when the time comes to do so or could I be careful with some carb cleaner on a rag to remove the excess adhesive (from my window...not paint )? If the price is right (once I am not so tight on funds) I have one extra that I could even mail you so that you could get a much more accurate stencil from it. The only change I would want is for the backing to be clear rather than the white that I have.

What is your email so I can shoot you a pic or would you prefer a pm on here and I can host it on photobucket?

Yea, shoot me a PM on here, it will send me an email notification anyway

With the permanent adhesive vinyl its pretty strong stuff....but just a flat razor blade to get under the corners and you can scrape / peel them off.....and surprisingly, it doesn't leave much residue behind. And in the case it does, some alcohol will thake care of the rest
