Question about an interor part

OK the question is:

The interior piece that I would call the cover that allows access to the rear struts. did that very at all form 1st gen to 3rd?

I ask because I am wanting a TEC Performance rear bar. In a E-mail sent to TEC Performance about their cover I was told that their cover would only work with a 95 and new.

So is that correct? Or do they not have a clue?

For what it's worth I didn't see any clear differences between my old 97 and the 92 I have now.

no change whatsoever. if it had changed, the interior lower quarters would be different for some models; and they're identical through the entire production run; every trim level; stealth or 3k.

They are probably referring to the ecs caps. 91- early 95 had ecs. Late 95 dropped that feature. The interior plastic access panels are all the same.
