To put it simple. An item is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. I'm willing to pay 100 bucks for it. So at the moment, it is worth 100 dollars. If somebody is willing to pay more than me, the value of the item just went up.

LOL, "Asian Land Rocket." Is that like a condom or something? I know condoms used to be called pocket rockets back when.

    Pocket Rockets. Satisfactions guaranteed.

Wow this thread has headed downhill. I haven't seen this car personally, but have talked to someone that has. I was told that the car is in decent shape, but not great. Also, this car has been for sale for quite a while (probably a year or more), and I think that the price/condition combo is the reason for that. I'd estimate that it's worth between $15-$20k based on what I've been told so far, but probably on the lower side of the range.

I was thinking around 14-15 pending a closer inspection, a dealer dropping 10k not very likely

Pretty much all the 99 VR-4's I've seen with 40 - 80k are about that:

    1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4

I think its a 99 club conspiracy - I got a potential yoinked from me. All the other 99 owners blasted the guy for listing it so cheap. He raised the price, then another guy swooped in, the bum

Bah, its all good. The more I look at the 99 the more I like the 97 -98 style better.

Doesn't look like it's in that great of shape... engine bay is definitely a little dirty for my liking as well. I'd take a big pass on this one.
