Bump. I would really like someone's opinion of the timing in particular.

Just an update for anyone who might be wondering what the issue was, the ECU was sent off to AvPro and has been running great ever since.

Well, she's back. Unfortunately worse than before and I'm almost positive it's a problem with the ECU, ARC-2, or 91-92 style CAS.

I'll be ripping everything apart in the next couple days, wish me luck.

Same issues as before? No revving past 3000rpms and no idle? Last time she wouldn't hold idle for me it was the MAS, got a used one from GZP and resolved issue. There is also a vendor in MD that replaces caps on ECS and ECU...I don't readily see them as a vendor anywhere...

As of now the car will barely hold 1500rpm, will slowly bog itself to death.

vyper1 you sound like you have the same issue here. In my case, this problem only occurs during the colder months.

I had these guys do my ECU and ECS Auto Velocity |. It was a bit ago, and IIRC it seemed longer than I wanted it to be, but I am happy with the job.

You sound like you are already trouble shooting using the Fuel section of the manual, I would continue to do that; ensuring you have fuel, spark and air. You are getting it all to some degree.

If you are confident your ECU is okay, my next step would be sensors, I would trade your MAS out with a known good one, also its temperature related/sensitive.

Granatelli MAS doesn't have baro, iat, or any of that jazz. The arc2 itself sends out a 68F and 1bar signal to the ECU, which is a fixed value that doesn't change. I am 0% confident in the ECU rebuild, but I'm not counting on it being the problem.
