We have seen a couple of cases locally hear with a 2nd gear whine and leaks the day it came back from kormex. but the owners lagged on bringing it back and they are now out of warranty. on the other end we have seen several come back with no problems at all. We just finished a trans, our first rebuild for a customer. usually we do it just for our selves. We haven't had one leak yet nor have we had any odd sounds coming out. We are far from a transmission shop yet we were able to do it. I would suggest Ray P or jacks but considering you are in cali you may want to hit up c3motorsports as they only use high quality parts and at a great price. They are who we order our trans parts from

I didn't know c3 did transmission rebuilds but would love to see some feedback from transmissions that have been done. I have already been in touch with jacks and once I get the funds to have it gone through I am hoping to pull it out and be done with this mess. I am leaning more towards jacks because of their amazing customer feedback and never seeing them curse at customers in threads, however, I am very interested in seeing other people's work as well...ESPECIALLY if it's local.

You afraid to do it yourself? They're cake unless you break parts, you have to go on a witch-hunt to find gears among other things. It would be a great time to fill up your toolbox and you'd get to keep the tools forever.

Never-the-less, I like Jack. He's a good guy. I've seen him bitch a few customers out and whine like a baby too, which proves we're all human and have our bad days.

I'd be interested in hearing Kormex's side of the story. There's always two sides to everything. Then again, there's some things that aren't worth wasting your time, energy, and breath on because even if you did it still still wouldn't matter.

I have thought about taking the trans apart but I am in no way prepared for it...I'd have ten times more problems than what I have now.

We never warranty for 30 days.
You just can't make up stuff years and 20k miles after , that's stupid.
